Indonemoura collina Du & Wang View in CoL , sp. nov.
( Figs. 8–14 View FIGURES 8 – 14 )
Diagnosis. This species is characterized by the ventral sclerite of the epiproct forming a small knob subapically. Also, the median lobe of the paraprocts is composed of a poorly sclerotized base and two long, sickleshape projections that curve dorsomedially.
Male. Forewing length 8.9 mm, hind wing length 7.9 mm. Head and antennae dark brown, head wider than pronotum, pronotum transverse oblong, paler than head. Wings pale brown with brown veins. Legs brown except for a paler band at the end of femora near tibiae. Tergum 9 concave medially, bearing scattered, tiny spines near posterior margin. Tergum 10 slightly sclerotized, anterior margin well sclerotized giving way to membranous median concavity, bearing small spines along lateral margin of the concavity; posterior margin of the concavity forming a ventrally directed hook armed with small spines; outer side of the concavity bearing several long hairs more distinct in lateral aspect. Hypoproct long, broad basally, tapering to a narrowed, but still plump tip, and bearing several tiny apical spines more distinct in lateral aspect. Vesicle slen- der, length 3X width. Paraprocts three-lobed; inner lobe closely affixed to median lobe, long, thin, slightly sclerotized and apically acute. Median lobe sclerotized, broad basally, two long, thin darkly sclerotized projections protrude from its base, projections equal in length, one near inner lobe of paraproct with a truncate tip, other with sharp tip, but both bent inward. Outer lobe of paraproct darkly sclerotized, thin and long, a little longer than median lobe, curved medially across both projections of the median lobe, a small lateral projection recurved dorsally along base of cerci. Epiproct thin and long in dorsal aspect, enlarged subapically, then narrowing to tip, a small notch apically; dorsal sclerite mostly membranous, with a small notch anteromedially; lateral arms darkly sclerotized, extending to ventral surface and more distinct in lateral view; ventral sclerite dark, broad basally, tapering to a narrow tip, keeled along its length, and near apex forming a small rounded knob; several prongs occur on knob, which is more distinct in lateral view; two rows of prongs occur on each side of ventral surface of knob near lateral margin of ventral sclerite, more distinct in ventral view.
Female. Unknown.
Type material. Holotype, male, Hutiao Gorge, Yunnan province, 27°15' N, 100°15' E, 26 May 1996, Leg. DU Yu-Zhou.
Etymology. The name refers to the small rounded knob near the apex of the ventral sclerite. The Latin “ collina ” meaning of a hill or hilly.
Remarks. This new species is similar to I. trilongispina and I. bilateralia in paraproct shape, but can be separated from the latter species by the small, subapical, rounded knob of the ventral sclerite keel.
