In need of redescription. The whereabouts of the type material is unknown [not stated by Bal & Joshi (1959)]. The generic status is uncertain as the pereopods are similar to those of Alcirona , while the mouthparts correspond with that of Argathona . Recorded from Muraena tessellata [now Gymnothorax favagineus Block & Schneider ] Muraenidae ; Bombay, India.
