In the spermatozoon of Bryconamericus exodon the ovoid nucleus measures 1.5 µ m in the longitudinal axis and 1.2 µ m in the transverse axis. The surrounding strip of cytoplasm has no organelles ( Fig. 6A View Fig ). Nuclear rotation toward the flagellar axis was about 80 degrees ( Fig. 6 View Fig A-B). The midpiece has a conical shape, measures about 1.17 µ m in length and contains some slightly elongate mitochondria ( Fig. 6 View Fig A-E).The endomembrane system is composed by vesicles with different sizes connected to clump of smaller vesicles with a lacy aspect ( Fig. 6 View Fig F-L).
