SPECIMENS EXAMINED. Russia: European part (Crimea: Simferopol [sub

C. viridula, ZIN ]).

DISTRIBUTION. * Russia (Crimea). Southern Europe, Northern Africa.

REMARKS. Specimens of Chrysis daphnis Mocsáry were confused and mixed with C. viridula Linnaeus, 1767 . C. daphnis can be recognized by elongate pronotum,

shape of genital capsule (Linsenmaier 1959), short and appressed setae on mid and hind tibiae (vs. long and erect setae in C. viridula ).
