Notes. First detailed record and confirmation for the occurrence of this species in Macedonia. This record is the most inland one as all other localities lie at the shore or close to seacoast regions of the Aegean and Marmara Sea, Greece and Turkey ( Franzen, 2011).

Notes. The exact place where the material based on the record “Vardar” ( Drovenik & Peks 1994, 1999) was collected, the Greek Macedonia or the Republic of Macedonia, is unknown. Gebert (1999: 29) gave no data for this species from Macedonia. As a few records for C. circumdata are known from Anatolian inland, saline habitats (Gebert, ibid.), we treat this species as questionable for Macedonia.
