Diagnosis. Mandible stout, weakly tapered towards distal end, with upper tooth conspicuously longer and stouter than the lower ( Figs 64–66 View FIGURES64–69 ); mesoscutellum with scattered punctures and two lateral stripes joining posteriorly ( Fig. 67 View FIGURES64–69 ); propodeum centrally wrinkled or ridged ( Fig. 68 View FIGURES64–69 ); fore wing with vein 3 rs -m completely absent, with vein 1 mcu joining 2 rs -m closer to Rs than of M, or rarely with lenticular areolet ( Fig. 69 View FIGURES64–69 ) ( Gauld 2000).

New World geographical distribution. Brazil (S„o Paulo); Colombia (Caquetá *); Costa Rica (Puntarenas, Alajuela, Heredia, Limón) ( Onody et al. 2012; Yu et al. 2016; Fernandes et al. 2023). ( Fig. 70 View FIGURE 70 ).
Habitat. The specimens were collected with a Malaise and suspendable type flight intersection trap at ground level and canopy in secondary forest and sugarcane ( Saccharum officinarum ) cultivation. The vegetation of the collection site corresponds to forests of the Andean-Amazonian foothills and Amazonian lowlands.
