Mops spurrelli (Dollman, 1911) View in CoL

This species was previously recorded from Guinean Nimba (Lamotte, 1942). During this survey, this species was captured above water at small streams and swamps in forested habitats on the Liberian side, at low altitudes 450 m to 600 m a.s.l. This species was distinguished from the similar Mops nanulus by the enlarged cingula of the lower canines, which were in contact in the male.
