This recently described species has only been recorded from forested habitats at the base of Mt Nimba on the Liberian side (Monadjem et al., 2013 a), although new records have been reported from the nearby Simandou Range in north-eastern Guinea ( Decher et al., 2015). This species is currently only know from the Upper Guinea forest zone.
