Hypsugo View in CoL sp.

This undescribed species is only known from a single specimen collected on 27 December 2011 at 1,400 m a.s.l. in forested habitat in Liberian Nimba. It was referred to as Neoromicia sp. 1 by Monadjem et al. (2013 a) due to the absence of an enlarged anterior premolar in the upper jaw. Decher et al. (2015) reported on four new specimens collected in the Simandou Range, confirming its specific distinction, and suggested that it belongs in the genus Hypsugo . The species is currently being described (R. Hutterer, personal comunication).
