Like 2 but panicle-branches branched below the middle and with spikelets throughout most of their length; spikelets 4-5-5 mm; hairs at base of lemma not more than | as long as lemma; anthers c. 1-5 mm. S. W. Spain, S. Portugal. Hs Lu. (N.W. Africa.)
