Like 74 but basal sheaths dark purplish-brown, without lamina; leaves sometimes green; female spikes 5-20 mm; lowest bract with a more or less inflated sheath 5-20 mm; utricles 4-5 mm, less asymmetrical, purplish- or blackish-brown, shining, abruptly contracted into a very short, entire beak less than 0-5 mm. 2« = 46.
