Like subsp. (a) but leaves up to 0-6 mm wide; sclerenchyma-strands mostly rather stout or stout; epidermal cells large; upper glume 38-5-5 x 14-2 mm; lemma 5 -3-5- 5 x 2-2- 1 mm; awn (2-l-)2- 5-3-5 mm; anthers (2-)3 -2- 3 -7 mm. Calcicole. C. & S. Italy; C. Jugoslavia.
