Like 1 but leaves up to 40 cm wide, dark green, with terminal spine 4-6(-10) cm; peduncle 2-3 times as long as the panicle. Naturalized near the coast inS. & C. Portugalandperhaps elsewhere. [Lu.] (Mexico.)
