Palaeopsylla soricis ist neben Doratopsylla dasycnema eine zweite auf Soricinae spezialisierte Flohart, die oft im Verbund mit D. dasycnema auftritt. Auch P. soricis erscheint im vorliegenden Material mit nur zwei Nachweisen unterrepräsentiert.
