Type data. This species was described based on male and female specimens collected by Charles F. Harbison at the same locality where the type specimens of C. ectypha were collected. The holotype male of C. harbisoni is housed at LACM. Paratype male with the following data label: MEX., Baja Calif.: San Francisquito Bay IV-3-1947 [handwritten]\ C. F.
