Specimens examined. None. Distribution. China (Guangdong, Hainan, Guizhou), Korea, Japan. Remarks. This species was originally described from Japan (Haga, 1973), and recorded from China by Tong and
Zhang (1989) just with distribution information. Wang et al. (2007) indicated the specimens of P. simplus Haga from
China were identified according to Japanese specimens by Okajima.
