Description of Marinobacter mobilis CAU 1621 View in CoL s
Cells are Gram-stain-negative, flagellated, and rod-shaped. Colonies are creamy white-colored after 3-5 days of incubation on MA at 30℃. In API 20NE test, weekly positive for esculin hydrolysis; but negative for reduction of nitrates (NO 3) to nitrite (NO 2 -), reduction of nitrates (NO 3) to nitrogen (N 2), indole production on tryptophan, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease, potassium gluconate, and gelatin hydrolysis. D- Glucose, L- arabinose, D- mannose, D- maltose, adipic acid, malic acid, trisodium citrate, D- mannitol, N -acetyl-D- glucosamine, capric acid, and phenylacetic acid were not utilized. Strain CAU 1621 About CAU s (= NIBRBAC000506279) was isolated from a soil sample from Sindo of Woongjin-gun , Incheon, Korea .
