Scalyfin Basslet. To at least 26 cm (10.2 in) TL (John Snow, pers. comm. to M.L.). Todos Santos (23°24.6’N, 110°13.8’W), southern Baja California (John Snow, pers. comm. to M.L.); Gulf of California ( Gallo et al. 2020a) to Panama ( Robertson and Allen 2015), including Islas Galápagos ( McCosker and Rosenblatt 2010). Depth: 90–450 m (295–1,476 ft) (min.: John Snow, pers. comm. to M.L.; max.: Sánchez-Jiménez et al. 2018).
