Streaked Mojarra. To 26 cm (10.2 in) ( Robertson and Allen 2008). Near Boca de Soledad (25°11’N, 112°06’W), southern Baja California (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California) and southern and central Gulf of California ( Robertson and Allen 2002) to Ecuador ( Béarez 1996), including Islas Galápagos ( Grove and Lavenberg 1997). Marine, brackish, and fresh waters ( Romero-Berny 2018, Fricke et al. 2020); depth: surface to 30 m (98 ft) ( Robertson and Allen 2002).
