Wavyline Grunt. To 45 cm (17.7 in) TL ( Allen and Robertson 1994). Newport Bay, southern California ( Love et al. 2005) into Gulf of California (McKay and Schneider in Fischer et al. 1995), and at least as far south as Manzanillo, Mexico ( Thomson et al. 1979).
