Menticirrhus undulatus (Girard, 1854) .

California Corbina. To 83.6 cm (32.6 in) TL ( Love et al. 2005). Off Morro Rock, central California (Personal communication: California Academy of Sciences Fish Collection, San Francisco, California) to Gulf of California ( Miller and Lea 1972); also perhaps San Francisco Bay, northern California ( Burton and Lea 2019). Also reported from Ecuador ( Béarez 1996) to Arica, northern Chile ( Sielfeld et al. 2010). Depth: intertidal to 27 m (90 ft) (min.: Miller and Lea 1972; max.: Allen et al. 2002).
