Pacific Drum. To 32 cm (12.6 in) TL ( Jiménez Prado and Béarez 2004). Southern Baja California (24°54.4’N, 112°20’W) (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California) to Coquimbo, central Chile ( Kong and Valdés 1990), including Gulf of California ( Robertson and Allen 2002) and Islas Galápagos ( Grove and Lavenberg 1997). Depth: 1–273 m (3–895 ft) (min.: Robertson and Allen 2002; max.: Zeballos Flor et al. 1998).
