Pacific Leopard Flounder or Speckled Flounder. To 23.5 cm (9.3 in) TL ( Nieto-Navarro et al. 2010). Boca de Carrizal (23°42’N, 110°38’W), southern Baja California ( Castro-Aguirre 1992) to Peru ( Robertson and Allen 2002), including Gulf of California (Hensley in Fischer et al. 1995), and Islas Galápagos ( Grove and Lavenberg 1997). Benthic; depth: 1–121 m (3–397 ft) (min.: Robertson and Allen 2002; max.: Hensley in Fischer et al. 1995).
