Chaenopsis alepidota (Gilbert, 1890) View in CoL .

Orangethroat Pikeblenny. To 15.2 cm (6 in) TL ( Miller and Lea 1972). Pelican Harbor, Santa Cruz Island, southern California ( Kushner et al. 2001) to Gulf of California ( Thomson et al. 1979). The only known mainland population in southern California is in King Harbor, southern California ( Stephens et al. 1989). A record from Point Sur, central California ( Love and Passarelli 2020) is in error.
