Panamic Stingray or Spinytail Round Ray. To 50 cm (19.7 in) TL (Amezcua Linares 1986), and at least 23 cm (9.2 in) DW ( Robertson and Allen 2002). Bahía Magdalena, southern Baja California ( De La Cruz-Agüero et al. 1994) to Paita, Peru ( Chirichigno and Vélez 1998), and Gulf of California (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California). Benthic; depth: 3–100 m (9–328 ft) (min.: Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California; max.: Amezcua Linares 1996).
