Deepbody Anchovy. To 16.5 cm (6.5 in) TL ( Miller and Lea 1972). Morro Bay, central California ( Miller and Lea 1972) to Bahía Magdalena, southern Baja California ( Whitehead et al. 1988). Depth: intertidal to perhaps 19 m (61 ft) (min.: Carlisle et al. 1960; max.: Allen et al. 2002).
