Diagnosis. This species is very similar in appearance to the other four species: O. arcuella (Clerck) , O. oculata Kim, Byun & Bae , O. subtilana (Falkovitsh) and O. palbongensis sp. nov. Kim & Bae, but it can be distinguished by the male genitalia, specifically the phallus, which features three groups of spines on the vesica.

Redescription. Female genitalia ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 11–13 ). Papillae anales elongate ovoid, setose. Apophyses posteriores and apophyses anteriores nearly same length. Sterigma broad process, curving dorsally, extending from posterior part of structures surrounding ostium, densely aciculate. Ostium broad, rounded, sclerotized. Ductus bursae membranous, almost two times longer than corpus bursae. Corpus bursae ovate, membranous, with scobinate signum.

Distribution. Korea ( Park 1983), Japan ( Nasu et al. 2013), China ( Hua 2005), Russia ( Falkovitsh 1960).

Host plant. Larvae have been reported to feed on fallen leaves in Japan ( Nasu et al. 2013).

Remarks. This species first recorded from Korea by Park (1983). Kim et al. (2022) redescribed the male genitalia and external morphology of this species but made no mention of the female. In this study, we provides a redescription of the female genitalia.
