Fannia abnormis Stein, 1900: 210 (Homalomyia) View in CoL . Female syntypes destroyed; formerly in the Hungarian Natural History Museum (HNHM). Type localities: Bolivia, S. Antonio and Songo.
Diagnosis. The presence of 0:2 acr is the only important diagnostic character of F. abnormis ( Stein 1919) . Biology. Nothing is known about the biology of this species.
Comments. Fannia abnormis has not been recognized since its original description. Reference for Colombia. Stein (1918).
Distribution. Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia (de Carvalho et al. 2003).
