Specimens examined. 6 ♂, 1 ♀, Asir, Maraba , 1–31. v. 2004, Malaise trap, H.A. Dawah & M.A. Abdullah ( NMWC) .

Other Saudi Arabian records: Asir Region: Maraba: 60 km S of Abha ( Dawah & Abdullah 2006)

Distribution. This species was previously recorded from Saudi Arabia by Dawah & Abdullah (2006). It was described from Egypt (“ Kairo, Luxor und Assuan ” (=Al-Qâhira, Luxor, Aswân )) and also recorded from the Palaearctic Region: Afghanistan and Morocco. There are some specimens of this species in NMWC collected from Niger (Aïr Massif).

Biology. Unknown. It was found in association with water (Dr. J.C. Deeming, pers. comm.).
