FEMALE — (Specimen measured — Ghana: 1).
Dorsum — Dorsal shield smooth, 384 long and 317 wide. Setae j1 29, j3 26, j4 11, j5 13, j6 16, J2 18, J5 13, z2 13, z4 19, z5 14, Z1 19, Z4 24, Z5 30, s4 32, S2 26, S4 26, S5 24, r3 37, R1 29. All setae smooth.
Peritreme — Extending to level between j1 and j3.
Venter — Sternal shield with tridentate median lobe on posterior margin. Distances between St1–St3 53, St2–St2 67, St5–St5 77. Ventrianal shield 61 wide at level of Zv2 and 64 wide at level of anus, length was not possible to measure in available specimen, with a pair of large pores posterior to and slightly mesad of Jv2. Caudoventral setae smooth and sharptipped.
Spermatheca — Calyx tubular, slightly flaring distally, 48 long; atrium distinct.
Legs — Macrosetae sharptipped; Sge II 19, Sge III 35, Sge IV 29, St IV 53. Chaetotaxy of genu III: 12/1,2/01
SPECIMENS EXAMINED: Ghana: 28 km S Dunkwa, Western Region, on unknown plant, 11XI1989, J.S. Yaninek.
REMARKS — The specimen examined in this study has j3 and St IV slightly longer (30 and 26%, respectively) than reported in the original description. This species should be added to the list of species of Ueckermannseius given by Chant & McMurtry (2005a).
