Basionym:— Ctenitis dulongensis Wu & Cheng (1985: 402 View in CoL , pl. 3).

Type: CHINA. Yunnan: Gongshan, Dulong Jiang (Taron), in silvis semperviritibus humidis, alt. 1700 m, Qinghai-Xizang Complex Exp. 82-9568 (holotype, KUN) .

Homotypic synonym:— Dryopsis dulongensis (S.K.Wu & X.Cheng) S.Y. Dong (2001: 187) .

This species is only known from the type locality.

This species has been hypothesized as a hybrid between D. apiciflora and D. heterolaena (Dong & Christenhusz, in press).
