Replaced synonym:— Ctenitis silaensis Ching (1941: 68)
Type: CHINA. Yunnan: Sila Pass in Mekong-Salween Divide , 3000 m, K. M. Feng 5564 (lectotype PE-00050284!, isolectotype PE-00050285! here designated) .
Homotypic synonym:— Dryopsis silaensis (Ching) Holttum & Edwards (1986: 194) .
Note: — There are two specimens of the collection K. M. Feng 5564 at PE and both were apparently in possession of Ching when he decribed Ctenitis silaensis . One of them is designated as the lectotype .
Heterotypic synonyms: — Ctenitis dentisora Ching (1941: 67) , Dryopsis dentisora (Ching) Holttum & Edwards (1986: 194) . Type: CHINA. Yunnan: Dêqin, Sila Pass, West bank of Mekong river, 3000 m, 16 July 1940, K. M. Feng 5510 (holotype PE-00050282!, isotypes PE-00050281!, PE-00050283!).
When this species is transferred to Dryopteris , the original epithet silaensis is blocked by Dryopteris silaensis Ching (1941: 65) .
This species was recognized by Dong & Lu (2001) but is synonymized by Dong & Christenhusz (in press) with Dryopteris nidus (Baker) Li Bing Zhang.
This species occurs in China (northwestern Yunnan).

Basionym:— Nephrodium obtusilobum Baker (1867: 284) .
Type : SRI LANKA. 1850, G. H. K. Thwaites CP3142 (holotype K, isotypes BM-001048519!, P-00642754!, P- 00642755!, SING! fragment of isotype) .
Homotypic synonyms:— Lastrea obtusiloba (Baker) Beddome (1868 : t. 296), non (Fée) T. Moore (1858: 98), Dryopteris zeylanica Alderwerelt van Rosenburgh (1908: 203) . nom. superfl., Ctenitis obtusiloba (Baker) Ching (1938: 296) , Ctenitis ferruginea var. obtusiloba (Baker) Sledge (1972: 409) ., Dryopsis obtusiloba (Baker) Holttum & Edwards (1986: 201) .
Note:—There is a later homonym: Dryopteris obtusiloba (Desv.) Christensen (1905: 280) , nom. illeg., which is Thelypteris bergiana (Schltdl.) Tardieu (1958: 277)) .
Dryopteris obtusiloba occurs in Sri Lanka.
