Replaced synonym:— Lastrea ferruginea Beddome (1863: 35 , t. 100), non (Fée) Moore (1858: 91).

Type : INDIA. Nilgiri Hills, Beddome s.n. (holotype K) .

Homotypic synonyms:— Nephrodium ferrugineum (Bedd.) Baker (1867: 283) , Ctenitis ferruginea (Baker) Ching (1938: 296) , Dryopsis ferruginea (Baker) Holttum & Edwards (1986: 201) .

Any combinations based on the later homonym Lastrea ferruginea Beddome are not validly published. This species occurs in India (Nilgiri and Anaimalai Hills).
