Description (female). Head dorsal surface with long, thin setae. Rostrum acute, apex blunt. Interantennal lobes broad, truncate with equal-sized rounded corners. Accessory eye composed of 4 ommatidia, 3 appressed anteriorly and 1 separate more posteriorly;.
Mouthparts. Maxilla 1 palp with 5 short bi-dentate robust setae and single lateral elongate, serrate robust seta; outer plate with row of 9 denticulate robust setae. Mouthparts otherwise normal.
Antennae 1 as long as pereonite 1–5 and half of 6 combined along dorsum, peduncle article 2 about three quarter length of 1, article 3 half-length of 2, article 1 with single penicillate seta ventrally in posterior half; flagellum as long as peduncle, of 7 articles, assessory flagellum of 4 articles. Antenna 2 as long as pereonites 1–6 and most of 7 combined along dorsum, peduncular article 4 the longest, flagellum of 5 articles, articles 2–5 with single slender robust seta distally, otherwise sparsely setulose.
Coxal plates 1–4 rounded apex fringed with some long setae and dense row of fine setules.
Gnathopods 1 and 2 carpus both with scattered setae on anterior margin, 7–8 groups of unequally long setae along posterior margin. Gnathopod 1 propodus with 7–8 strong, pectinate robust setae on posterior margin. Gnathopod 2 propodus with a few scattered simple setae.
Pereopods 3–4 propodus with long, plumose seta anterodistally.
Pereopods 5–7 basis with posterodistal rounded projection. Pereopods 5 and 6 basis broadest distally. Pereopod 7 broadest proximally, posterior margin slightly sinuous, posteroproximal expansion rounded angular. Pereopods 7 with long setae in submarginal row on medial surface.
Uropod 1 peduncle reaching just beyond uropod 2 peduncle, rami of equal length, as long as peduncle, with a few small robust setae. Uropod 2 peduncle with about 11 glandular openings ventrolaterally, and at least 3 on adjacent urosomite 2, outer ramus about 4/5 length of inner ramus, rami generally reaching to middle of uropod 3 outer ramus. Uropod 3 peduncle about 2/3 length of rami, with row of about 7 glandular openings ventrolaterally, rami elongate oval, reaching beyond apex of telson, outer ramus article 1 with row of 8 robust setae dorsolaterally, and 6 small robust setae ventrolaterally, small second article with 3 dorsal robust setae; inner ramus reaching to about end of basal article of outer ramus, dorsolateral margin with row of long setae, apex with 3 robust setae.
Telson. Reaching 2/3 along outer ramus of uropod 3, length/width 2.2, each lobe with dorsal row of 4 robust setae, slender simple setae along lateral margins, and single apical robust seta.
Male. Generally as female but differing as follows: antenna 1 peduncle article 1 with 1 large and 3 small brush setae ventrally and 2 large ones dorsally; flagellum article 1 with ventral row of many long aestetascs in single field medioventral callynophore; posterior flange of basis of pereopod 7 broader. Uropods and telson as female although uropod 2 rami are slightly longer in relation to uropod 1.
Size. Largest ♀, 6.9 mm. Largest ♂, 5.4 mm.
Distribution. Northern Western Australia, 37– 84 m.
