Female: (n=4) Body worm-like, 151 long; prodorsal shield 23 long, 39 wide, anterior lobe present; prodorsal shield with protrusion at middle, design with median lines absent, admedian complete, U-shaped, submedian lines absent; scapular tubercles set at prodorsal shield rear margin, setae (sc) 20 long, directed backward, sctsct 16 apart; leg segments normal, foretibial seta (1') set at half, 5 long; 1st coxal setae (1b) 6 long, 1bt-1tb 7 apart, 2nd coxal setae (1a) 11 long, 1at-1at 8 apart, 3rd coxal setae (2a) 22 long, 2at-2at 17 apart; solenidion ending as knob; empodium simple, 4-rayed.
Opisthosoma: with about 59 microtuberculate rings, dorsum smooth at posterior one-third; first 3 rings 7 long; lateral setae (c2) 9 long, c2t-c 2t 41 apart, c 2t \dt 43, c2t-dt 24; 1st ventral setae (d) 25 long, dt-dt 33 apart, dt\et 33, dt-et 20; 2nd ventral setae (e) 10 long, et-et 20 apart, et\ft 52, et-ft 49; 3rd ventral setae (f) 13 long, ftft 13 apart; setae h1 present.
Coverflap: 15 wide, 9 long, with about 9 short longitudinal lines, genital setae (3a) 7 long, 3at-3at 12 apart.
Male: not seen.
Type data: Holotype, female, Lanyu, Taitung; 22-Mar.-1998, C. Y. Yang; ex. Premna serratifolia L., Premna , ( Verbenaceae ). Paratypes, 3 females, with same data as holotype.
Relation to host: Pouch gall on the lower surface of leaf.
Note: This new species is similar to A. asystasiae Mohanasundaram, 1987 but differs in the prodorsal shield design with admedian lines complete.
Etymology: The specific designation is derived from the specific name of the type host plant.
