Holotype: Female , Langping , Tianlin Co., Bose Pr., Guanxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China ( CAU).
Dist.: CHINA: reported only from Tianlin (Guanxi Aut. Reg.) {24°29’N 106°21’E GoogleMaps }.
Refs.: Yang, 1988: 178–179 (des.), 178–180 (larv. des.); Nagatomi e t al., 1999: 59 (figs.), 60 (key), 65–67 (redes.).
Remark: There is a description of a larva by Shelford & Shelford (1900), collected at Mt. Penrissen, Kalimantan Barat province, Northern Borneo {1°06’N 110°13’E}. The larva cannot be precisely identified. Wheeler (1930) and Oldroyd (1947) discuss its identity. Nagatomi et al. (1999: 67) provide the English translation of an observation by Yang & Chen (1987) who collected larvae of presumably Vermitigris sp. from Tibet (Yadong Co.).
