In Gabon, adult specimens of this species were found by Ellenberger in LambarØnØ on Genetta genetta and on Nandinia binotata in Belinga in 1962 (Camicas J.L. et al., 1973). We also collected adult stages from Nandinia binotata in Olounga, Atherurus africanus in Guietsou, and Cephalophus dorsalis in Nkolabona and Guietsou.
