Comments: Although there are no known records from Minnesota, Graenicher (1935) reported this species in “western Wisconsin all along the St. Croix and Mississippi Rivers.” This report and presence historically of multiple Macropis species suggests that this now globally rare species likely occurred at the time in adjacent Minnesota as well.
