Genus Creterhirhinus Legalov , gen.n. ( Figs. 7- 10)
Type species: Creterhirhinus kzyldzharensis Legalov , sp.n.
Description. Body light brown. Head roundish. Rostrum long, widened to apex. Eyes no protruding from contour of the head. Pronotum weakly transversal, with punctate disk. Elytra convex, with distinct striae and narrow intervals. Abdomen convex. 1st and 2nd ventrites elongated. 3rd - 5th ventrites narrow. Length of body: 1.9 mm.
Diagnosis. This new genus differs from unique described cretaceous genus Cretulio Zherikhin, 1993 of subfamily Erirhininae by the form of body, shorter rostrum and small sizes of body.
Etymology. The name is formed from the words “Cretaceous” and “ Erirhinus ”.
