Genus Krantzolaspina Datta & Bhattacharjee, 1989

Dorsal shield bearing usually 32 pairs of setae (36 in K. rebatti ), most setae moderately long and smooth, some posterior setae slightly pilose. Pre-sternal area with two pairs of elongated pre-sternal platelets. Sternometasternal shield with four pairs of smooth setae. Genitiventrianal shield bearing four pairs of smooth setae (st5 and three pairs of pre-anal). Peritrematal shields usually fused to sternometasternal shield and to podal shields. Epistome with a median projection and serrated lateral margins. Chelicera chelate-dentate, often with four teeth on fixed digit and two on movable digit. Cheliceral seta smooth. Palp trochanter with a small pointed spine-like process on ventral surface. Male unknown.
