Published data. Iran (Сhandler et al. 2008, as Stricticollis , checklist; Telnov 2008, as Stricticollis , general distribution); Hormozgan ( Telnov 2010a, as Stricticollis ).

New records. IRAN SE: Hormozghan [sic!] prov. Doveri vill env. mt. 1000 IV. 2000, A. Plutenko leg. (7 specimens ADС).

Chorotype. NE African—Sindian (5.1 1 NAS) with no African records presently known.
