2.2.8 Pleurotheciales ( Sordariomycetes, Ascomycota)

Two Phaeoisaria species are found in marine habitats: Ph. sedimenticola View in CoL isolated from surface marine sediment in the inter-tidal zone, Shandong, China ( Cheng et al. 2014) and Ph. clematidis View in CoL in mangrove litter ( Devadatha et al. 2021; Maria and Sridhar 2003). Pleurotheciaceae View in CoL was introduced by Reblová´et al. (2016) in Pleurotheciales ( Sordariomycetes View in CoL ) and is included for the first time in the checklist of marine fungi.
