2.2.7 Neophaeothecales View in CoL View at ENA ( Dothideomycetes, Ascomycota)
Phaeotheca salicorniae View in CoL was introduced by Crous et al. (2016) and transferred to the new genus Neophaeotheca View in CoL by Abdollahzadeh et al. (2020) and the type for the new family and order Neophaeothecaceae View in CoL , and Neophaeothecales View in CoL , respectively. Neophaeotheca salicorniae View in CoL and Neophaeotheca triangularis View in CoL are black yeasts reported from hypersaline waters in salterns ( Chung et al. 2019; Gunde-Cimerman et al. 2000).
