Muyocopronaceae View in CoL was invalidly introduced by Luttrell (1951) and later reintroduced by Hyde et al. (2013) while the order Muyocopronales View in CoL was introduced by Mapook et al. (2016). Ellisiodothis inquinans View in CoL ( Muyocopronaceae View in CoL ) was reported from Spartina alterni fl ora in Buenos Aires, Argentina by Gessner and Kohlmeyer (1976), but there is no further documentation.
