Distribution by States in the Northeast Region of Brazil. Maranhão; Piauí; Ceará; Rio Grande do Norte; Paraíba; Pernambuco; Bahia; Alagoas; Sergipe.
Species from the Northeast Region of Brazil. Cycloneda sanguinea ( Linnaeus, 1763) .
Comments. The genus is distributed throughout the American continent ( Vandenberg 2002; González & Vandenberg 2006). Only C. sanguinea occurs in NE Brazil ( Bartoszeck 1980; Araujo-Siqueira & Almeida 2006).
