Species from the Northeast Region of Brazil. Curinus coeruleus ( Mulsant, 1850) [ confirmation] ( Fig. 5 ).

Material examined. Curinus coeruleus : “ BRASIL, Alagoas, Maceió / -9.557245, -35.777099, 87m,/ 07.ii.2019, I.M.M. Lima, S.O.S./ Cajé & J. Duarte-de-Mélo ” “Em Clitoria fairchildiana / R. A. Howard ( Fabaceae )” “ Curinus / coeruleus / ( Mulsant, 1850)/ J. Duarte-de-Mélo det. 2023” [white label] 1 ex. [ DZUP 327202 ] .

Comments. Two species of Curinus occur in Brazil, C. camboriuensis and C. coeruleus . The genus Curinus record for NE Brazil is revalidated, based on the confirmation of C. coeruleus in the region after 150 years, since Crotch (1874).
