Distribution by States in the Northeast Region of Brazil. Maranhão; Piauí; Ceará; Pernambuco (oceanic archipelago of Fernando de Noronha and continental territory); Bahia; Alagoas.

Comments. Chilocorus has its natural distribution in the Old World, but currently, as a consequence of the establishment of species in numerous other parts of the world, has resulted in its distribution becoming pantropical ( Chapin 1965a; Ślipiński & Giorgi 2006), also occurring in NE Brazil due to the presence of C. nigritus ( Leal & Oliveira 1979; Lima & Gama 2001; Rafael et al. 2020).
