Comments
Laminicoccus pandani , the most widespread and common species of Laminicoccus , is distributed at present throughout Micronesia and Polynesia. The most important characters of this mealybug are the absence of a circulus and the presence of large numbers of multilocular disc pores on the venter, situated across the medial areas of most abdominal segments. Oralrim tubular ducts, each with the duct about as wide as long, are distributed around the dorsal and ventral margins and submedially on the dorsum of the thorax.
