Ecology. Shelf species, collected at depths from 90 ( Blanco 1984) to 351 m ( Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2004).
Distribution. Circum-Antarctic ( Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2004). West Antarctica : off Low Island ( Blanco 1984). East Antarctica : east of Cape Hallett, Victoria Land, Ross Sea region ( Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2004).
