Puberulent to almost hispid; flowering stems 10-50 cm. Leaves 5-16 x 1-5^4 mm, the lower obovate, the upper linear-spathulate and often with inrolled margins, acute or subobtuse. Verticillasters distant; bracts 3-1 0mm, usually shorter than the verticillaster; bracteoles not more than | as long as calyx. Calyx 3-5(-6) mm, sparsely to densely puberulent, with few, minute glands; teeth J as long to as long as the tube. Corolla 5-10 mm. Mediterranean region. Al Hs It Ju.
